The Idea of North

Yule. Love It.

The Idea of North presents: YULE. LOVE IT. You know how the end of the year tends to sneak up on you? Well, we’re turning the tables this year and getting Christmas going now. Take that, Christmas! Join us for an end-of-year event that promises to make you feel all the feels: Fizzy. Squishy. Misty. Classy. Laughy. Singy. Festivy. This year we are so very pleased to have our astounding vocal percussionist KAI KITAMURA with us for the entire festive season. All the way from Tokyo, Kai’s musical, subtle, often hilarious mouth drumming is the perfect compliment to The Idea of North’s audience-pleasing mix of songs you love (given facelifts), and new songs introduced to you with TION’s trademark warmth, humour and emotive depth.

Adult $45, Concession and Students $35,  Child $20. Groups of 10+ $35.

The Idea of North are entirely deserved of their reputation as Australia's most awarded, best loved and longest running contemporary vocal group. This multi-ARIA Award-winning ensemble will astound and move with their incredible arrangements, flawless harmonies and dry, deadpan Aussie sense of humour. You'll not only experience world-class a cappella singing, but such is the group's down-to-earth nature, you'll also leave feeling as though you've know each member of the group for years. Since forming originally in 1993, there have been only a few changes to the line up over the years, but each time the group seems to improve their sound, their blend, their musicianship, and now, as a quintet, The Idea of North is in it's most exciting and versatile incarnation yet. Simply not to be missed.
