The Marais Project
Baroque Songs & Interludes
Wenona School and the Independent Theatre are committed to ensuring the safety of patrons and staff, and have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Following the government’s directive to restrict public gatherings to minimise risk and prevent unnecessary exposure to the community, the difficult decision has been made by the School to cancel all events up to and including Friday 26 June, 2020.
The School is also concerned for the wellbeing and long term viability of our vibrant arts community. We are especially mindful of the situation now faced by small organisations and freelance artists who do not have access to resources or contingency plans. In light of which, all ticketholders are offered the option of either receiving a full refund, or donating their ticket price to support the artists through this difficult period in the performing arts sector.
Please contact the Independent Theatre by email: (email@example.com) or telephone (02) 9409 4462 to advise of your preferred option, including your name and contact number, the name and date of the event, and the booking confirmation number if available. All requests will be processed over the 14 day period following receipt of your request.
We will continue to work alongside the event organisers to reschedule these performances and notify patrons of new information once this critical period has passed. Details will also be posted on the Independent Theatre website as they come to hand.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and support through this challenging period.
