Wenona School Presents

Shakespeare's

Much Ado About Nothing

Wenona School's production of 'Much Ado About Nothing' will take you back to the 1970's: a turbulent time when the men were returning from Vietnam and women were starting to stand up for themselves. Enter Benedick and Beatrice. Benedick is full of jokes, and thinks marriage and women are bad news. Beatrice, a feisty and witty feminist, is full of scorn for Benedick. Both swear that they hate love and will never get married. But is there more to this relationship than either will admit? Sparkling with witty dialogue, Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare's most enjoyable plays. Come and watch students from Wenona strut their stuff in what is arguably the worlds first romantic comedy.
